How do I access the Mailbox?

*This requires special permission – requests can be submitted via the IT Access Request Form on the IT Intranet Site*

Depending on the email client you choose, the detailed instructions for accessing the mailbox that you have Full Access permissions to are listed below:


Outlook Windows Desktop Client:

  1. Launch the Outlook app
  2. On the left-hand panel, locate the name of the shared mailbox
  3. Click > to expand the mailbox
  4. Select inbox


Outlook Mac Desktop Client:

  1. Launch the Outlook app
  2. Select File -> Open -> Shared Mailbox

  1. Search for the mailbox you are going to access
  2. Select the account -> Add

  1. Click > to expand the mailbox
  2. Select Inbox

Outlook Web App:

  1. Launch a web browser window and navigate to https://outlook.office.com/mail/
  2. Login using your OTG email address and password
  3. Click on your use icon on the top right side of the screen
  4. Select Open another mailbox

  1. Search for the mailbox you are going to access -> Open

  1. A new tab will open, and the inbox will appear
