How do I access the Mailbox?
*This requires special permission – requests can be submitted via the IT Access Request Form on the IT Intranet Site*
Depending on the email client you choose, the detailed instructions for accessing the mailbox that you have Full Access permissions to are listed below:
Outlook Windows Desktop Client:
- Launch the Outlook app
- On the left-hand panel, locate the name of the shared mailbox
- Click > to expand the mailbox
- Select inbox
Outlook Mac Desktop Client:
- Launch the Outlook app
- Select File -> Open -> Shared Mailbox
- Search for the mailbox you are going to access
- Select the account -> Add
- Click > to expand the mailbox
- Select Inbox
Outlook Web App:
- Launch a web browser window and navigate to https://outlook.office.com/mail/
- Login using your OTG email address and password
- Click on your use icon on the top right side of the screen
- Select Open another mailbox
- Search for the mailbox you are going to access -> Open
- A new tab will open, and the inbox will appear
